Hello I have created this fundraiser for my Mom, Jean Hanna. On July 15, 2024 her world was turned upside down when she was told she has a brain tumor. Subsequently, we have learned that the tumor is a Glioma tumor, grade four...terminal. For those of you who know her, I am certain she has captured a very special part of your hearts. For those who do not, she is one of the most vibrant souls on earth. Dedicated, hardworking, generous, vivacious and always the life of the party. Currently, she is in an acute rehab facility trying to walk and talk. The brain surgery was successful in removing a large portion of her tumor but unfortunately not all of it. This is the most aggressive type of brain tumor and the craniotomy and residual tumor left behind is impacting her mobility and speech and will continue to grow. She requires 24/7 care. She has spent the last few years caring for her husband with dementia, who recently passed away in November of 2024. Most of her funds were dedicated to his care and well-being. My hope is to raise enough funds so that she may live the rest of her days with the best possible care and ease some of the financial burden associated with the ongoing care she will need as we make the most out of the months ahead.
