tldr: Jay, a devoted single father and passionate mountain biker, is in need of your support. Facing immense medical bills following a severe biking accident, every little bit of help would mean the world to him. Life can be a wild ride, filled with uphills and downhills. Right now, our friend Jay Crain is navigating one of life's hardest downhills. But life has a way of testing our grit, and Jay is currently facing one of his toughest trials. Recently, during a ride in Blue Lake, Jay had a severe accident that resulted in two broken wrists. (Images and X-rays are attached below). His optimism remains unshaken, but the realities of the situation are daunting. Jay now stares down a challenging path to recovery, an arduous journey expected to last several months, during which he won't be able to work. The medical bills for his emergency care and surgeries are mounting, already approaching $20,000. On top of this, lost wages could total as much as $12,000. For Jay, who was already grappling with financial difficulties, this incident has left him in a precarious situation. As friends and family, we are reaching out to you, hoping that the community that Jay has devotedly served will rally for him now. We have set up this LFEBridge to help him navigate this unforeseen financial hardship. Any contribution you can make will go directly to cover Jay's medical bills, lost wages, and essential living expenses during his recovery. So we humbly ask you: Can you help? If you're able to donate, please do. If you're unable to contribute financially, sharing this page within your network can also make a big difference. Jay's spirit remains strong, but he needs our collective support to help him steer through these difficult times. Thank you for your consideration. Every bit of support, whether it's a donation or a share, means the world to Jay and to all of us who care about him. Let's rally behind Jay and help him pedal through this tough climb. He's proven time and time again that he's a fighter, and with your help, he can overcome this challenge too. 8/4/23 Update Progress! Two days after surgery on 8/2/23 to a plate was installed with pins in the left wrist to secure the fractured bones. The right wrist was reset and casted. It's still challenging to move around or grip anything, but it a HUGE improvement!
