Please help us raise money for medical and living expenses for my dear friend Jamie Silva. On Friday, October 16th after spending a good part of the day together, Jamie was riding her bicycle in Livermore and suffered a horrible accident. The details are unclear but the results are everlasting. Jamie was found face down in a ravine with life threatening injuries that have left her unable to walk. Her bicycle was found nearby mangled and bent.For those of you that know me, you know the story about my daughter, my sweet angel Kristina. She was struck and killed by a drunk driver while riding her bike home from her school library. She too was found by a kind stranger but for her it was too late, she later died as a result of her injuries.Jamie is expected to live but her life will be forever changed. I made a promise to Jamie as she lay in ICU that I would help her through this, that I would do for her what I could not do for Kristina. I was left helpless when Kristina was hit but now it's time to step in and do whatever it takes to help Jamie through this horrific ordeal.Jamie will require lots of medical care and she did not have any medical insurance. This fund is being set up to help her once she is discharged from the hospital. I will be managing the money in hopes of getting Jamie the help that she so desperately needs.This will be a battle like no other. Jamie is a strong, vibrant woman that is always busy. She lives on a ranch and takes care of the horses and property along with lots of dogs and cats. She has a heart of gold and would do anything to help out a friend or even a stranger. She truly is one of the most giving people I have ever known.Now it is Jamie's turn to be on the recieving end of the kind of help that she so easily gives to so many, something that she is not used to.Please consider helping out in any amount.
