On July 9th, 2024, James and a friend were down at the hidden lakes in Twin Falls Idaho. When a tragic accident accrued. James has been jumping off cliffs down at the hidden lakes for many years never to think that this would happen to him. He jumped off one of the cliffs and hit a rock in the water. He was picked up by life flight and flown to Idaho Falls. He broke his L3 vertebra and when that happen it cut both nerves to the L1 and L2 vertebra because of that he became paralyzed from the waist down. He also had more injuries on his left leg he broke his femur, and on his right leg, he broke his heel. He was in a medically induced coma for two days before they woke him on July, 11th. James is still in the hospital with a discharge date unknown. We as a family are asking for help for him and his wife. They have 3 beautiful dogs and a home. With all that has happened, they no longer have an income until James' disability starts and it takes anywhere between 6 months to a year. They are going to need help to pay their utility bills and keep food in the house, and for some travel and hotel for his wife and dogs to come down to Idaho Falls to visit him. We hope and pray James gets into U of U for rehabilitation, However, we still do not know if he has gotten in. Anything will help we want to thank you and God bless you.
