Hi, my name is Mikaela. I am Jaden Torres’ eldest cousin. I created this LFEBridge in order to help our family to raise funds for Jaden’s additional medical costs and the family’s every day expenses. On July 11, 2024, 11:42 AM in Hollister, CA, Jaden was involved in a serious car accident. A Chevrolet Silverado driver was pulling out of the driveway when it accelerated directly into the path of Jaden’s vehicle who was traveling northbound on Fairview Road. Jaden’s younger brother Jacob was also in the vehicle, he sustained minor injuries. Jaden was rendered unconscious and airlifted to the Natividad Hospital Trauma Center for his injuries. Jaden was in critical condition and has barely made it a level lower. Jaden is a beloved son, brother, grandson, and nephew. He is a well known athlete in football, lacrosse, and wrestling at his High School. This traumatic event is devastating for our family and those who know and love Jaden in the Hollister Community . Jaden has a long recovery ahead of him and all the medical expenses that come along with it. This LFEBridge will also help for food expenses since Jaden’s parents have not left his side. Any donation is greatly appreciated. *Update in Jaden’s status (As of 7/29/2024): Jaden has now been transferred to a Brain Injury Facility. He’s been there for 4 days now. The plan is for him to be at the facility inpatient for a duration of 2-3 weeks. He’s making progress everyday. Please continue to pray we truly appreciate all the support. Thank you! *Update (8/12/2024): After a long month of praying the day has finally come, Jaden was released to come home yesterday. He’ll continue outpatient therapy for six months three times a week. Thank you everyone who donated and continues to pray for our family. We truly appreciate you all. He has a long recovery ahead though being in the comfort of his own home and around family is truly going to be amazing. We appreciate all your prayers and generosity.
