Hello, my name is Heather, and I am trying to raise money to help me with my son's medical costs. Jacob called me on May 1 to let me know that he has cancer, a call that no mother wants to get. Since then, he has moved into our home, had two surgeries, and we have been all over central Michigan for testing and chemotherapy. Jacob was diagnosed with Stage 3 Cancer that has moved to lymph nodes, nerves, and he has a large tumor pressing on the arteries and nerve bundles in his retroperitoneal. Due to severe pain and heavy chemo treatments, he is unable to work at this time. I am doing my best to keep up with all the extra costs and bills; however, I can't do this alone. I need to swallow my pride and ask for help. My son feels as though he is a burden to our family, and I would like for him to not have to worry about the financial needs. He has to save his energy to fight. I am asking for help with uncovered medical needs, gas, maintenance for the vehicle, and anything else the he may need.
