This is Jacob in the video at 20 years old. Jacob is 23 today. He is an amazing young man. Jacob and his family have had their share of struggles. Jacob was diagnosed with Autism at 4 years old. Lots of work, therapy, and prayer for many years allowed for a great improvement in social skills and him being able to tolerate everyday life. Jacob was considered moderate to high functioning by 8 years old. At 10 years old Jacob was diagnosed with Intractable Epilepsy. A two-year fight resulted in his seizures being under control. He continued to bring joy to friends, family, and all who encountered him. Today at age 23 Jacob and his family encounter a new battle. Jacob has been diagnosed with a rare cancer called Ewings Sarcoma. Not only is the cancer rare, but the way that it is presenting itself in Jacob is unique and rare in itself. Prayers and support from friends and family will again get him through. God loves this kid so much and uses him to show others unconditional love and that there are so many things that matter more than conveniences, luxuries, and other silly things! Jacob loves his younger twin sisters, his older siblings, his Mom, his Dad, and all of his friends. The LFEBridge funds are for travel, food, and accommodations for his biggest supporters (younger sisters/family) through the next 5 sessions of Chemotherapy. Because his cancer is rare and odd, he will need to travel for his therapy. - Traveling as a family, to make sure we can be there during visiting hours, is costly. Jacob's Chemo treatments are covered by medical insurance, everything else is paid out of pocket. As a family, what we want the most are your sincere prayers. If you choose to help financially, know that it is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your donations, thank you for reading about Jacob, and thank you for watching his super sweet ways in the video. God Bless You!
