This is so hard for me to write … As many of you know my Jack (my dog) is my baby, my shadow, and my emotional support dog for my anxiety. I’m also his person his support hooooman. Well he has had an accident and is unable to use his back legs, he can not walk. I have taken him to the Vet and had X-rays done, they say he had a slipped disc in his back and his vertebrae is pressing on his nerves, which is why he can’t use his back legs. They say he needs an mri which is $1000 plus because he will have to have anesthesia and be put to sleep to be able to do that. Depending on what the mri results are, he possibly needs surgery, and if so they will do that right then while he is still under anesthesia. Which that will be $3000 plus. This comes at a hard time for us because we will be getting medivac to Hawaii for another surgery for us again. As many already know we live in Okinawa Japan and they do not have the animal care credit and we have to pay out of pocket funds that we do not have right away. The vet says he needs this done asap before it gets worse, I just can’t stand to see my baby in this much pain and unable to do anything. He is too much of a happy pup. As of right now the vets gave him a steroid shot and some pain meds to go home with to help him try and be a lil comfortable. He just needs help !! If y’all could help donate to help my baby get back on his feet I would greatly appreciate anything ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
