Jace Delatte is a 34 year old from Southeast Texas who has recently received a devastating diagnosis. On May 28, 2024 Jace began experiencing shortness of breath, so he went to the ER where his wife, Ashli, works as a Respiratory Therapist. He was found to be in severe fluid volume overload and was transferred to Baylor Hospital in Houston. On May 31st, Jace was diagnosed with Heart Failure and told, due to the severity of damage, he would likely need multiple heart surgeries, possibly even a heart transplant. After undergoing more tests and meeting with multiple doctors, his care was transferred to a Congenital Cardiac Disease Specialist at Houston Methodist. On July 18 Jace went in for a cardiac catheterization and was sent to the Cardiovascular ICU. The procedure was supposed to be an outpatient diagnostic study, but his surgeon said his heart was in much worse shape than they had anticipated. Jace's condition is guarded and he now has to be closely monitored in the hospital for months while they develop a plan for further surgical intervention. Due to Jace's current condition, he will be unable to work to help support his wife and children. Amid all this uncertainty and turmoil, on June 15, 2024 Ashli gave birth to their fourth child. Jace and Ashli are now the proud parents to four beautiful babies: Greyson (7), Blakleigh (6), Landry (2), and Hudsyn. Ashli and Jace are both very hard workers and amazing parents who are in need of support. I have started this fundraiser as a way to help them navigate this medical journey without the stress of financial hardship. Please consider donating to help the Delatte family. Any size contribution will help and is greatly appreciated! If you are unable to donate monetarily, please add the Delatte family to your prayer list and consider joining the registry for organ donors in Texas. https://www.donatelifetexas.org/ Thank you so much
