Hi, My name is Rebecca; my son Joshua was killed just after midnight 1/1/23 by a selfish wrong way drunk driver on the 33 expressway in Buffalo, NY. My son was an intelligent, loving, loyal, honorable young man who supported all of his friends & local nonprofits! He created a clothing line; Life After Death Clothing #LAD I’m asking for donations to the nonprofit I created named above in the title. I am going to create a program that will educate, raise needed awareness & deter drunk driving! My goal is to go into schools, youth clubs other nonprofits & speak from firsthand experience of losing a child behind a selfish drunk driver! I feel there is a huge void when it comes to speaking to our youth, teens, young adults & adults about the dangers to their lives & others while driving under the influence! There is a huge void when it comes to this subject! There is no local MADD it’s in Rochester & I feel that I need to do this so no other mother or family has to lose their child /loved one to a selfish senseless act! The funds will be used to create a program ( lessons, bring in medical professionals in , police in, brochures, hands on virtual simulators) . I have reached out to a local school district principal today who has already agreed to allow me to come speak to the students this school year! Please help my son & I continue to honor Joshua ; he was an amazing son , brother , friend! He was highly intelligent, loyal, loving, kind yet stubborn, brutally honest but a teddy bear! He was his brothers first best friend & Vice versa; he supported all his friends in their business endeavors & supported local nonprofits! Lets keep his spirit alive! Thank you
