Did you know in India 303,000 mothers and 2.7 million newborn infants die annually around the time of childbirth and that many more are affected by a preventable illness? I am partnering with Sukarya, a credible GuidesStar India Platinum-certified NGO to improve maternal health in Rural and peri-urban areas in 3 Indian states by providing access to quality health services and establishing a self-sufficient support system for the communities. Any and every contribution towards ensuring the safety and future of our next generation will be appreciated!
