New Grounds Composting, Talbot County's first residential and commercial composting operation, is expanding! We have moved to a 5000 sq foot lot in Cordova. This expansion will allow us to exponentially increase the number of homes and businesses we can serve in the area, and thus, the amount of waste we can divert from landfills and greenhouse gasses we can keep from the atmosphere. However, we cannot achieve this ambitious goal alone. We are seeking to raise $5,000 to cover the costs of solar panels and the materials needed to build a larger aerated composting system. Here's how you can help: Make a Donation: Any contribution, big or small, will bring us closer to our goal. Your generous support will directly help us grow our composting operation into an eco-friendly powerhouse. Spread the Word: Share our fundraising campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues who share our passion for sustainability. Together, we can create a ripple effect of positive change and inspire others to support our cause. Composting is the future. It replenishes our soils, reduces our dependence on landfills and keeps greenhouse gasses out of the atmosphere. With a donation of any size, you’re moving the eastern shore towards a cleaner, greener future. We are sincerely grateful for your support :)
