This LFEBridge page has been updated with the passing of our loved one, Kristen Johnson. She was a loving wife to Thomas, doting Mommy to Norah, and doggy Mama to Peppers. Thank you so much to everyone that has donated. She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 while pregnant with her second daughter. She lost her daughter during her first fight with cancer. In 2024, she had a double mastectomy to lower the risk of cancer ever coming back. 2024 was a pretty good year where life was getting back to normal until the fall when she began having abdominal pain. At first, her doctor said not to worry too much. Unfortunately, scans showed the cancer was back and this time she was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer. This cancer would be with Kristen for as long as she lived. At first, Kristen and her family were optimistic as there were many treatment options. Kristen was a fighter. She tried every option her body could handle to fight the cancer that kept spreading through her body. Throughout her journey with cancer she continued to be a pillar in her community, she was an incredible real estate agent and made friends with every one of her clients, she fought the good fight for Black Lives Matter, she organized epic community clothing swap events and free yard sales. She gave so much of her time and love to us and now it's time for us to help make sure Thomas and Norah are okay financially. Some of her medical bills weren’t covered by insurance. We are waiting for all of the bills to come in. These funds will be used to keep Thomas and Norah in the same neighborhood they call home that Kristen loved so much. Any donation amount is appreciated. All of the money raised will go directly to Thomas and Norah.
