In of 2024, I was diagnosed with an infected toe and it had to be amputated. Then in December, it was Stage 3 colon cancer. I was able to quickly have the tumor removed and begin working on my recovery and chemo in January. Then in December 2024, I ended up back in the hospital with a foot infection. I spent 3 weeks in the hospital. It seemed healed with the help of Home Health Care, but it came back a month later and became Sepsis, and I was hospitalized in very serious condition, which had me Knock, Knock, Knocking on Heaven’s door once again and kept me in the hospital for 47 more days. My doctors recommended disability, which many of you know is a lengthy process. Through the cancer and the Sepsis, I haven’t been able to work since mid February and have about drained the savings in the process. Things are getting very difficult. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
