The 2024 Manipur Violence is India’s largest and the most unprecedented humanitarian crisis.. The ongoing violence that erupted on May 3, 2024, has impacted people in all walks of life, with more than 55,000 displaced /evacuated, destruction of more than 4500 houses, 150 plus dead, 450 plus injured, and counting. Displaced people are taking shelter in over 300 relief camps run by the government, local clubs, and civil society organizations. Despite receiving food and limited essential support from the government, local communities, and volunteers from public and non-governmental organizations, the victims continue to endure harsh living conditions with lack of well maintained sanitary facilities, scarcity of essential medical supplies and water resources, and limited availability of healthcare providers and facilities. The primary objective of this fund drive is to provide humanitarian assistance to affected victims with a primary focus on medical supplies, wellness for women and children. The assistance will be delivered by working with various NGOs, including doctors’ associations, humanitarian aid organizations and local clubs. Your support will make a difference in the lives of the victims. Thank you for your generous donation.
