Hello, thank you for taking the time to click on the link and visit our fundraising page. This September, a group of 9 volunteers will be travelling to Uganda for two weeks. During our time in Uganda, we will be handing out donations not only to The Rainbow Hope Centre, but also to the wider community. Donations cover a range of things from annual dentist checks for the children, ensuring they have adequate First Aid in the Centre, purchasing food and soap for the wider communities who would otherwise go without and developing the Centre to ensure it remains a safe haven for the children. Last year we were approached by a desperate father who needed urgent medical attention for his young son, the donations we receive go towards situations such as these and wherever it can help and make a difference. Five members of the group going out to Uganda this year, Norma, Cat, Sue, Sarah and Lynds have decided to embark on a 26.53 mile (just over a marathon) walk along the Cybi coastal path in one day on the 2nd September 2024 to raise some money. This will be challenging physically for us all, but will be worth every moment to make that difference. On a personal note we would like to say thank you, we appreciate times are very difficult at the minute within our own economy but to consider donating to individuals you do not know is very heartwarming. What incredible difference you make. If you would like to know more about our charity Hope Uganda (HUG) then please visit www.hopeuganda.org Uganda Volunteers 2024 Norma Cat Sue Sarah Lynds
