Hello my name is Kevin and I am starting a fundraiser to help my father Rene who was involved in a horrible/terrible accident while decorating for the 4th of July holiday. My father during this holiday event is true and loyal celebrating Independence Day for the opportunity that was given to him which wasn’t there back in home country of Bolivia. He’s been here more the 30 years giving and provide the best living for the family. July 4, 2024 during early morning about 10am, he was climbing the ladder to the roof to put and display a 30feet American Flag to the house. While he was climbing the ladder, friend was holding the ladder from the button to make sure he doesn’t fall and to secure the ladder. My father was connecting the flag to a hook and adjusting when he slipped and lost balance. He tried holding the frame of roof and broke and fell head backwards. He managed to turn his body around as he was falling to avoid possibly being killed or any extreme damaged from head backwards to the concrete floor. He landed on both left and right hand and wrist which ultimately broke completely his hands and wrist. Any donations and messages are welcome as family needs help with funds for medical expenses.
