Saturday, October 24th 2015, started as a normal happy day. It was my son's 14th birthday and we had a day of fun planned until my 15 year old daughter noticed that her baby sister's eyes were yellow. One of our twin babies, Cataleya Hope, was jaundice and, as we found out later, was in liver failure. Our twin babies spent their 1st birthday apart because our Cataleya was in the hospital and Leilani, her twin, was home with grandma. My husband and I have been living in the hospital with our Cataleya, giving her love, hugs, kisses and prayers. Cataleya Hope underwent a liver transplant on October 31st. Donations are for medical expenses and lost wages while we love Cataleya through this recovery.
