On Tuesday June 27, 2024 Chad Kirkland of Gulf Shores, Alabama suffered a massive stroke. He put in a valiant, strong effort to stay on this earth with his beloved family. He passed holding his wife’s hand at 10:32 am on July 4, 2024. He leaves behind the absolute love of his life, Heather Mize Kirkland. He treated her like a Queen and doted on her every day. If she needed anything, he tried his hardest to get it for her. He especially loved to cook her dinner every night. They have a deep, strong, true love that will last through eternity. He leaves behind one son, Paul Jackson Kirkland, age 17. Paul will be a Senior at Gulf Shores High School in the Fall. He and his dad were absolutely best friends. They loved to fish, hunt, surf, go to concerts, listen to music, play pool and just hang out together. Chad also leaves behind about 15 of Paul’s friends whom he loved like sons and daughters. Last, but not least, is the Second Lady in his life Marigrace Kirkland, 15. She will be a Sophomore at Gulf Shores High School in the Fall. From the time she was born, she was his living baby doll. He was her favorite parent and never wanted him to put her down. As she grew, he adored the beautiful, smart and sweet young lady she is becoming. He also loved watching her tumble and cheer. He took her to her first concert this summer. He loved to travel with her, take her to hunting camps, teach her to drive and shoot a gun. She was his beloved special princess and loved her with all of his might and heart. Chad fought extra hard to stay with his family, but God chose to take him home. If you know anything about Chad, you know he would want Heather, Paul and Marigrace not to worry about medical expenses and future education expenses for the children.
