Hi, my name is Larry and I represent many of you who care very much for a great friend named Jerry Wojcieszak. Our friend was diagnosed in March 2024 with an aggressive form of leukemia called Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). The purpose of this LFEBridge is to offset the financial burden of this diagnosis so that Jerry and his wife Lea Ann can focus on the more important matter of beating this disease. Jerry has already endured intensive treatment with multiple stays at AdventHealth in Orlando, FL. His progress has been encouraging and the doctors are optimistic that he will be cured! The next step in treatment will be a Bone Marrow Transplant which will begin on August 3, 2024. Unfortunately, Jerry was recently informed that his longstanding employment as engineering manager of the Flight Controls subsystem on NASA’s Artemis manned rocket will be terminated on August 4, 2024 due to transitioning to long-term disability coverage. Losing his employment will make it difficult to pay for extensive and growing medical expenses as well as private medical insurance. Since Jerry’s diagnosis, they have incurred major medical expenses (deductibles, co-insurance, denied claims, etc.) and anticipate that the bill will continue to grow throughout this horrific ordeal. So many of us have been asking what we can do to help bring Jerry back to health, back to work, and back to the life that he treasures. If we can each lend a hand to reduce the financial stress and let him concentrate ALL OF HIS ENERGY on surviving, that WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Jerry is a very kind and generous person; always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and strangers. He is a hard worker, with a great sense of humor, and devotion to his family, friends, and coworkers. So far, throughout this unimaginable journey, Jerry has remained positive, been faithful to God, and is fighting hard to get through these challenges. Thank you in advance for your consideration in helping out Jerry and his family offset costs. Your donation will be used toward his medical treatment and his recovery post bone-marrow transplant. Let’s be a force that helps carry them through this challenge. Any donation amount helps in reminding them that they are not alone in their journey. Friends of the Wojcieszak family
