First, I'd like to start by thanking God for the survival of my loved ones. Aloha, I am Charmaine, a friend of the victims of that major car accident in Waipio Gentry on June 30, 2024. While driving home from a get-together, my friend Vallee, her son Valen, her daughter Jade, and daughter-in-law Danice were hit head-on by a drunk driver, a habitual offender with a record of over 20 years. The drunk driver has no insurance or license. No words can describe the horrific scene of the incident that night. Val and her children were stuck inside the vehicle until neighbors came running to help pull the ladies out. Valen, who was pinned by the impact of the collision to his engine, needed the jaws of life to remove him from the van. Valle had a concussion, suffers from a spinal injury, and has 42 sutures spanning the circumference of the front of her head. Valen suffers from a left femoral head and shaft fracture, left inferior patellar fracture, right radial styloid process fracture, and left arm lacerations. Jade suffered from a concussion, bodily pains, and a broken collarbone. Danice suffered from a concussion, cuts, and deep bruises around her pelvis, left leg, and arm. I am making a plea on behalf of my 'ohana whom I love so dearly, to help support them with the financial hardship they will endure from medical and living expenses. Valen, Vallee, and Danice have a long recovery ahead, and they will need all the blessings they can to get through this tragedy without worrying about how to make ends meet and survive. Thank you all for your support with prayers and good vibes. God bless you all! https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2024/07/03/suspected-dui-driver-critical-waipio-crash-is-habitual-offender-records-reveal/
