Hi everyone I am making this fundraiser for my daughter Emily and her family. My daughter was diagnosed in March of this year with stage 3 metastatic melanoma. She just had my littlest grandson in February, and they have 5 kids at home all together. Since the diagnoses she has had three surgeries. She’s had to take time off work and she takes days off work for the therapy she has to receive as well. Her husband colt works at Honda usually 7 days a week. He thankfully just was approved for FMLA to be able to take her to some of her oncology appointments and be there with her during surgeries, but they aren’t paid. They both work so hard despite everything but as you imagine things are piling up for them. Missing work and having a big family to care for and bills to pay is becoming overwhelming for them. They aren’t the kind of people who like to ask for help and I know they would rather try to do it themselves. I know I am the momma, MIL and the MIMI and I could be biased but I know they deserve any help they can to lighten their financial load right now so they can focus on their family And getting Emily better.
