Hello everyone, I am Zya's mother. Me and her father decided to create this LFEBridge to help Z through this difficult journey. 06/27/23 Zya was having stomach pains so I decided to take her to urgent care where they did and X-ray and found that she very constipated and prescribed her miralax. The very next morning around 3 am she was still having pains and started crying in her sleep so I took her to the children's ER where they decided to do a fleet enema which helped for a little but once we were discharged she continued to have the pain. We followed up with her pediatrician and they sent us back to the ER. They decided to do the same thing and send us home not looking any further in to it. 07/04/23 she started complaining her leg's hurt and that it hurt to walk and over the week it just got worse and was too painful for her to walk. We then went back to her pediatrician and they started giving referral's where she'd have appointments month's out. I couldn't wait and have my baby in pain till then so I took her to a different hospital to get her checked out. They did a blood test and it came back abnormal and admitted us. 07/12/23 Zya was diagnosed with childhood leukemia. We are all still in shock and taking it day by day. If you feel your child is sick and you feel like you are being thrown for a loop NEVER STOP PUSHING FOR YOUR CHILD YOU ARE YOUR CHILD . We know this will be a long journey for her but she is the strongest 3 year old I know and we know she will beat it. Even if you cannot donate keeping her in your prayers is enough.
