Hi, I’m Heather and I’m fundraising for a fellow Westfield mom, Molly, who needs a helping hand to get through a really rough time right now. Her kids’ dad is a 22-year combat veteran suffering from PTSD, a traumatic brain injury, and schizophrenia. Molly and her kids had to abruptly leave their permanent home for safety reasons. He has been unwilling to get help and sadly was recently arrested and jailed. Molly and the kids found a rental, but now the landlord is selling the house and they’re being forced to move again. She has saved for first/last month’s rent at a new home, but recently her truck died while they were in Northern Indiana, and it’s stuck there because she lacks the funds to repair and get it home. It's their only vehicle and she desperately needs to get it fixed and back to Westfield. I'm amazed at how she continually is able to keep a positive attitude and she does a fantastic job supporting her kids, but the past few months have dealt some serious blows and she could use some assistance to get through this difficult season in her life. All donated funds will be allocated to Molly and her family. The first $2,000 will be used to repair her truck and get it home from Northern Indiana. Any funds received over and above the vehicle repair expenses will be used to help defray moving expenses and getting settled into their new home. Thank you so much for your generosity! I’m a firm believer in “it takes a village” and I’ve seen the huge hearts of the mamas in this community! Let’s rally around Molly and support her! Thanks so much!
