July 23rd , our mom, Toni experienced a massive heart attack and suffered a brain injury. While on the way to the hospital she coded multiple times and to be resuscitated. Fortunately, a stent was able to be placed and she has spent the past two weeks in the ICU. She is currently unresponsive, but we are hopeful that with time she will recover. We have chosen to place her in an LTAC facility to give her brain and body time to heal. Our worlds have been turned upside down with our mom fighting for her life in the hospital. We know that she was always busy making shirts, cakes, and decorating for people’s special events. She dedicated her time to work, but also spending quality time with her family and loved ones. While we are still picking up the pieces of her and our lives since she’s been in the hospital, we are so grateful for the support that we’ve had on this journey. We are creating this account to help with the unexpected medical expenses that are sure to come with her recovery. We appreciate all the support and your prayers.
