Hi, my name is Allie Dittmer and I am starting this Go Fund Me for our sweet friends Ben and Mallory Kilburg. On Tuesday, July 18th, Ben was competing in the steer wrestling event in the slack at the Cheyenne Frontier Days when he was involved in an accident while competing. Ben is currently in the intensive care unit at the Cheyenne Hospital in a medically induced coma from the injuries that he has sustained. Ben and Mallory are two of the most hardworking, genuine, and faithful people we know and they could sure use your help and prayers right now! Ben and Mallory also have a beautiful two-month-old baby girl that they are so proud of. The road to recovery will be a long one, but we all know Ben is strong and a fighter, and they will get through this. Please donate what you can to help with the expenses they will incur in the weeks to come. They have always been the first to step up when others need help, so let's step up for them. We all love you so much, Kilburgs! *** UPDATE 7/24: Ben is making amazing progress! This week they were able to extubate Ben and slowly wean him off of sedation. The doctors are so impressed with his progress and have said it has to be all of the prayers! While Ben continues to heal at the Cheyenne Hospital, the family is working to identify the next steps and rehabilitation plans.
