Hi My name is Jennifer (Jennie Lynne). I started this go fund me when I was originally diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, however I am in need of even more help now as it is now stage 4. In June of 2024 I went to the emergency room with a large tumor which ended up being stage 3 colon cancer. I underwent 8 surgeries this year and still have another to go. The cancer has metastasized to my lungs with over 20 tumors in each lung and is now stage 4. I have never smoked tobacco a day in my life. I will be needing another surgery and chemotherapy for the remainder of my life. I was told my life expectancy could be as soon as 6-40 months. My CEA markers have increased at a rate of 5x in just two months. I was a 1st grade teacher and I am a mom. I am looking for help with my bills, and cost of living as I am no longer able to work and have applied and have been approved for Social Security disability but the law is that they have a 5 month unpaid waiting period from the onset of the disability and being unable to work. I have to now pay for cobra insurance without any help from social security. The law is also that you can’t get on Medicare until 25 months of being on Social Security if you are under 62 years old. I struggled working intermittently all year just to have insurance but have exhausted my sick days and am no longer able to physically work. I would greatly appreciate any donations to help me.
