Hi, my name is Caitlin and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of one of my closest friends Jenna (basically a sister to me) & her husband Kyle. She and her husband were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Anna. However, the birth was very rocky and unexpected medical costs are adding up. Jenna gave birth to Anna a week or so early and Anna had a lack of oxygen at birth. She had to be life-flighted to Children’s Hospital. She was put into hypothermia to protect her brain and other organs. During this time, mom was completely separated from her in another hospital for 4 days, heartbroken. Nobody was able to hold baby Anna for days, only able to hold her tiny hands. She has had intensive care, monitoring, MRIs, etc. Kyle has not been able to work. He has been non-stop between both hospitals visiting Jenna and baby Anna, as well as trying to stop home to take care of pets. He has been sleeping at Children’s. Insurance doesn’t cover a lot. With having to take off work and all of these unexpected costs for tests, expense of life-flighting, and travel back and forth, we are hoping this fundraiser can help.
