Ever since he received this outpouring of love, his blood work is dramatically improved, and as of today, 8/30/23 his Cancer Tumor Level is NORMAL! Keep the love, prayers, and funds coming! They are helping him heal and we cannot express our gratitude!!! My big-hearted cousin Dean-O is the type of guy who would drop everything to help us at a moment’s notice. He always makes time for us and he knows how to make anyone feel special. He is a proud disabled veteran, who served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army. However, he is the loudest and proudest of being a father of 3 children and husband to his adoring wife, Shannon, of 23 years. Recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer he began his chemotherapy treatment last month (which can make one feel very ill and tired). He continues to work part-time Grounds Crew during this heatwave at his job with the VA while he undergoes chemotherapy in order to extend FMLA benefits that only goes so far and the bills are piling up. Unfortunately, for full disclosure, I must admit that he is a Dallas Cowboys fan, and although my husband loses our football bet to him every year, Dean-O is the kind of guy I can still throw shade at while he’s batting cancer .
