Hello we are trying to raise money for a used wheelchair accessible van for my brother in law. He had a stroke and is paralyzed on his entire left side. Our sister has been lifting him into the SUV to take him to doctors appointments and such but she has developed diabetic retinopathy so everytime she lifts him her eyes hemorrhage. The doctors are warning her that if they keep hemorrhaging she could go blind. Unfortunately we have to work and can’t be there to help her all the time. So this is why we are asking for your help. A wheelchair accessible van would allow my brother in law to drive his wheelchair into the van and my sister would not have to lift him anymore. However, these vans are very expensive. We don’t need a new one we are just trying to raise enough to buy a used one that doesn’t have extremely high miles on it so it will last them for awhile.
