Friends and family, As you know, Lloyd has had some challenging times in the past year. We are hoping this next step in his journey will ensure he has more consistent care in an assisted living facility that will support his needs while continuing his cancer care treatment in Salt Lake City. The facility is walking distance to his daughter's house, and he is looking forward to seeing his grandson daily. Many of you have reached out in the previous months and asked how you can help Lloyd during this challenging time. Right now, the most helpful thing you can do for Lloyd and his daugther/caregiver, Sarah, is to donate to this fundraiser. All money raised will be used to pay for the cost of his living facility and care over the next several months. The level of care Lloyd needs right now is significant and costly. We are working on securing subsidies from the VA to offset this cost, but we are still several months away from receiving any VA funding due to their lengthy application process. Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated. His daughter, Sarah, has organized this campaign and will be responsible for ensuring the funding is used to give Lloyd the best care possible.
