On October 5th, around 1am, Sue Mahr had a seizure and was rushed to Blair Hospital and then to Immanuel Hospital.  Doctors found the seizure was due to tumors on her brain.  They initially saw 3 tumors, but concluded there were a total of 5 tumors on her brain.  After a biopsy, she was diagnosed with Level 3 anaplastic astrocytoma.  This is an advanced form of brain cancer, but we are optimistic because Sue is a strong woman.  Sue (54 years old), with the support of family and friends,  is determined to fight this cancer and kick it in the you know what.  She will undergo an aggressive treatment plan starting on Monday, October 26th, which will include radiation and chemotherapy.  These treatments will be done 5 days a week for 6 weeks.  So for the forseeable future, Sue is unable to work, therefore not bringing in the income that she needs to pay basic bills, not to mention the surmounting medical bills.  We want Sue to focus on beating this cancer and not stress about paying her bills. This is where we need your help.  Sue gives so much to her friends and family.  She is  a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and the rock of our family.  She would do anything for anyone.  Help us help her.  Through our donations, each of us has the power to give Sue our thanks, to be there for her in this difficult time, and to help her save her life. Please join me in donating whatever you can to help Sue beat this cancer!
