Travis's journey over the past few years has been filled with many unexpected health challenges. Four years ago, he faced his first outbreak of staph, leaving him puzzled as he was healthy, active, and in his early 30s. Since then, Travis has experienced countless infections followed by rounds of antibiotics. Eventually, Travis's bloodwork came across the right desk, and on August 4th, the diagnosis came - T-cell LGL leukemia. Treatment begins immediately with low-dose chemotherapy. The oncologist will closely monitor Travis's progress, making adjustments as needed. You can help ease the financial burden of the medical expenses and treatments ahead by supporting this LFEBridge campaign. Your contribution makes a significant difference in their lives during this challenging time. The Albini family finds peace in knowing that God created us to lean on each other during these challenging moments and is thankful to have such a strong community around them who they can ask for prayers and support. While saddened and scared, hope fills the hearts of the Albini family. This news, though not what they wanted, provides answers to Travis's difficult road. The doctors are optimistic, assuring them that while this type of cancer is not curable, it is treatable. With a positive response from his body, Travis could live for many more years. After receiving his diagnosis, Travis heard the song, "Lead On Good Shepherd ," and it resonated deeply with him. This has now become his anthem in this cancer fight. When you hear this song, please lift Travis and his family up in your prayers. Travis and Danielle's five precious kids - Brody, Brinley, Beckham, Baker, and Bennette - are deeply affected by their dad's illness. Travis is their hero, deeply involved in their lives. Please keep them in your prayers as well, as they strive to create a safe space for their emotions and concerns. Your love and prayers mean the world to the Albini family as they begin on this difficult journey. Thank you for your support!
