Hi, there. My name is Jamie and I'm raising funds for my aunt Tracy. Tracy is a long-term Mt. Pleasant resident and a veteran of Charleston's food and beverage scene. Tracy has been experiencing a serious decline in her health these past few months and had struggled to cover the cost of tests and visits without insurance. We were hoping she could make it through to October so she could sign up for subsidized insurance through Healthcare.gov but it doesn't look like she can wait that long. Last week, Tracy was diagnosed with pneumonia and diabetes and she is now in the hospital in the cardiac unit, having had to undergo a blood transfusion to save her life. Because of this, Tracy has had to miss a lot of work and has medical bills accumulating. She is maintaining a positive attitude but has a long road to recovery ahead of her. We appreciate all donations and will keep you updated on her recovery.
