Hello to you if you are reading this. Firstly thank you for reading about why I'm doing this fundraiser. A little cat came into our garden early this year we have had many like people do but this litte one stole our hearts and our outdoor cat called Froggy, who we saved also, who has got attached to this little one who we have named, TomToms. Other time TomToms got poorly, was sneezing constantly and had breathing trouble. Cat protection took him to check him over, to get neutered and microchipped and said he could have calicivirus as his mouth was bad. Was given pain relief and antibiotics. He got better. Then after a couple of weeks went down hill again. Tried to get help for him from many companies but all could not help as either to far or very expensive. or just wouldn't help. TomToms got worse and wouldnt eat for 3 days. So lost weight again. Eventually we found a vet that looked at him in an emergency appointment. The vet said he has gingivitis quite badly, he is also starting to smell really bad because of this. Heart is fine, no temperature. Gave pain relief and gave more for the next couple of weeks. TomToms is not microchipped so now we know he has no owner we will now be his new owners. On 22nd August we go back to the vets for blood tests and check up and if all is ok on 31st August he will get neutered, microchipped and see a dental vet to start the next part of his care. His teeth will not be removed in one go as very painful, so will be done in seperate visits. We really love TomToms and have got very attached to him as a family aswell as our other cat, who only lets this cat near him. My daughter who is cat crazy also loves the cats and has mental health problems and likes spending time with the cats, like therapy for her. We want TomToms who is only young, vet thinks about 2 plus years old, he has plenty of years ahead of him and we want to give him the best life as the start of it, has not been good. He is a very friendly and loveable cat and we need help to make him better. It is difficult to find all the money for TomToms treatment which is why I'm doing this fundraiser.
