Our Dad Tom Heise was diagnosed with Bladder cancer in 2018. After multiple BCG treatments and appointments, he finally beat the battle with bladder cancer in 2024! In January 2024, Tom was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. Over the next 5 months, he had to have many Chemo and Radiation treatment appointments. In July of 2024, he spent a week down in Froedert (Milwaukee) for the removal of part of the esophagus. Tom was such a fighter that the Doctors and nurses were extremely impressed with the outcome of the surgery and even discharged Tom early! Then came February of 2024 when a pet scan showed the cancer had returned, But was now metastasized throughout his body. During these last few months, he has been undergoing many more Chemo and radiation treatments and more testing. With all of this comes significant costs including; Traveling for appointments, hospital bills, medication, hotel stays and of course missed time from work. This is where we need all of you! Together we can help ease the stress. Tom is the best PAPA! He is also of course a great Husband, Father, Brother, son, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend. Who enjoys time spent with his family and friends the most. As a community, we want to try and help, as we all know Tom and Vicky would do anything for anyone! If they can help in any way or with anything they will! Any, and all help is so greatly appreciated.
