What we're doing On September 6th, 2024 a select group of 8 to 10 mad Canyon employees will embark on a 378 km cycling journey from Amsterdam to Koblenz to raise money for a good cause. The idea is to leave at 04:00 at Canyon Amsterdam, pass through multiple cities in the Netherlands and Germany to arrive just before sunset at the head office in Koblenz. Please support our quite literal "pedal-power" with any form of donation, support, or just words of encouragement as we make a difference in the only we know how - by DOING! Why we're doing this We are dedicated to organising the first official “Tour de Canyon” as a charity event to support one of our own, Philipp Borkowski, whose brother, Ronny, has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. To aid in Ronny's medical expenses and the expenses that most certainly will follow, we came up with this crazy idea to start our own LFEBridge campaign, which will fully go towards Phil and his family, as we as the Canyon family stand (and pedal) as one. How we're doing this As this is a cause close to our heart, we're taking the organisation of the event seriously and approaching as professionally as we can. We're organising support vehicles, nutrition for the riders, mechanic support, accommodation, a media crew to document the trip, and a kit to show that we're a team. How you can contribute To help out Phil and Ronny, we're working together as a bigger team and aim to raise a total of €3780, or €10 per kilometre of the route. It'll help a colleague and a friend, but will also bring the Canyon team closer together. So donate and help out!
