Hi, my name is Olivia Jones thank you for clicking and reading into my mom’s story. My mom Jena was recently diagnosed with Chrohn’s disease. She has been hospitalized twice since january do to this. Luckily she’s been able to avoid having surgery so far. The doctors are trying to treat her via medication with surgery being a last resort. She is currently being treated with biologics every 8 weeks but it is not working how they had hoped. The next step is to increase her infusions or starting a new medication. These treatments are expensive to say the least even with insurance- not to mention the hospital stays and appointments.
