Hello West Point families and friends. So many of you have asked how you can help, so we wanted to share this opportunity. This page has been set up for our Army football family, The Hoyts, to support their ongoing medical expenses. Charlie is father to Army football #70, David Hoyt (Class of 2025). As many of you know, Charlie suffered a medical emergency last week (multiple brain bleeds) and underwent two emergency brain surgeries to treat these. He is currently in critical condition in Neurology ICU since 7/18/23 and is being carefully monitored. We are hopeful for his recovery (now 48 hours seizure-free and showing some improvement each day), but he will have a long road of recovery and rehabilitation ahead of him. David's mother, Kerri, is also undergoing treatment for cancer, which she has been courageously battling while caring for Charlie. Please prayerfully consider donating to this worthy cause. All proceeds raised will go directly to the Hoyts to support both parents' ongoing medical expenses, including Charlie's recent brain surgeries, hospitalization and post-operative care.
