Hi everyone, let me briefly introduce you to a truly extraordinary young man. Yusef Elsaid, a 19 year old who studies computer science, works at Publix, plays guitar, piano, volleyball, and is in the gym almost as much as the equipment itself. On Friday, July 14th, Yusef was attending a charity kickball tournament organized by a few coworkers to raise money for the tools for schools campaign. In the process of warming up,  he slipped and snapped his femur. A few colleagues surrounded him and quickly realized the severity of his injury and began to call 911. He was rushed to UF health where he was tended to and that’s where he is now, awaiting surgery. Any and all proceeds will be used towards Yusef and his family’s expenses incurred as a result of this incident. Yusef is in good spirits and is very hopeful for a smooth and speedy recovery. He is looking forward to jumping straight into physical therapy to work his way back towards the active lifestyle he lives. Absolutely anything helps and is appreciated more than you could ever know. Even just sharing this post or passing on the word is an immense help. Thank you all for listening, god bless.
