Hi, my name is Mike Codding and I am raising money for my sister-in-law Kali. Kali is a wonderful 35-year-old mother of 3 and wife to my baby brother Joe. Not long after giving birth to my nephew Cooper, she developed an incredibly rare heart condition called post-partum cardiomyopathy. It is progressing rapidly. Kali is now in Brigham Women’s Hospital in Boston, away from her family that she loves so much. My brother Joe has exhausted his FMLA time and the family is struggling to make ends meet, never mind afford the medical bills that are going to inevitably follow. If you can help in any way please do. Kali, my brother and my nieces and nephew do not deserve any of this. Kali is going to require two open heart surgeries, one to place a LVAD and the other is a full heart transplant. Please consider donating and sharing. Thank you. UPDATE: Obviously our family is BLOWN AWAY by all of the monetary support. Absolutely incredible!!! Kali is having a 6 hour open heart surgery tomorrow to implant an LVAD device. I’m not going to go into deep detail but there are a lot of obstacles that will need to be overcome to get my sister-in-law back to normal life. To all of you who have donated I owe you personally a life-debt. This is my family, and it’s so hard to sit and not be able to do much to help. If you have donated and want to do more…..share this LFEBridge as often and widely as possible. We need to reach folks outside our amazing circle of people. 35k is ASTOUNDING……but it’s a drop in the bucket compared to what Joe and Kali face moving forward. Love to all of you. There are some more fundraising efforts that will be announced moving forward, I eagerly hope to see each and every one of you in person, hug you so hard, and thank you with all of my heart. -Mike C-
