Hello dear beloved community, My name is Munah Mayo, as many of you know my son Terry Dunbar suffered a stroke March 23, 2006. His survival is a testament to the power of love, family and chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. I am forever grateful he is alive. And, he has challenges speaking and being understood verbally, as well as mobility limitations. I learned recently about a new procedure available for people who have lasting complications due to stroke. We had a promising meeting with the doctors at the Institute of Neurological Recovery about this new approach. After an interview and evaluation in June, Terry is believed to be a great candidate for this specialized treatment. However, insurance does not cover the procedure. Between now and November 2024, we are raising funds to cover the $8000 cost of the procedure. Thank you so much in advance for any support you may be able to offer. It means so much to me and Terry that he could regain his ability to speak and walk with fluency. His heart is as big as the world, I know we will all benefit from his recovery! No amount is too small, we welcome your contribution with gratitude from the bottom of our hearts! Munah and Terry
