Hi, My name is Linda Hambrick Robinson and I need your help. For about the last 18 months my dear friend, Temeka Holden, has been struggling with HS Disorder. HS Disorder is a chronic condition meaning that it does not have a cure. As I sat and listened to Temeka open up and talk about the challenges that she faced as well as the challenges that are ahead my heart broke. I can't begin to imagine the anxiety, and the loss to live life that she is feeling. I met Temeka over twenty years ago. She has always, always been an excellent employee, a loving friend and a great mom to her only son, Adrian. In about two weeks she will be going through yet another procedure in hopes of getting relief from the pain that she experiences on a daily basis. Medical supplies such as Mepilex Border Sacrum dressings are costly but are extremely necessary for a positive outcome. The price has risen from just over $400 to a whopping $900 monthly! Besides worrying about the rising cost of medical supplies, Temeka is worried about the cost of living and maintaining her household. If we can reduce her worries so that she can focus on healing, I know that she can have a successful outcome this time around. Any amount contributed will be appreciated immensely and will be used towards getting her healed. I want to see her focusing on getting better and not having to worry about medical supplies or how she is going to support herself and her son.
