Hi, my name is Warren and I have set up fundraising for my Auntie Tayce. On 26th May my Auntie Tayce was diagnosed with stage 4 ALK+ Non Small Cell Lung Cancer. This mutation of the disease occurs to 2% of the population and there is no known cure for it as of now. This week she has started taking a chemotherapy medication called Brigitinab in order to help try and stump the growth of her cancer. Our world has been flipped upside down. Auntie Tayce is a mother of two children, one is 12 and the other is 18. As well as this, she looks after my 72 year-old grandad with her partner. Since being diagnosed she has had to give up her job at the local pharmacy where she has worked for years dispensing medication for those in need. Now, she is recieving no financial government help and any help she may receieve in the future, she has to wait a minimum of 14 weeks to get it. So now a house with 5 people living in it, is solely relying on her partners wage to cover the cost of monthly bills. This is simply NOT enough. She has became worried sick over things like how she will be able to afford food, electricity, gas... all whilst she has a fight with cancer on her hands. She does not need this added financial stress and anxiety right now. My Auntie Tayce is already debating on trying to go back to work in order to earn more money to help out and I am NOT allowing this. She is not in any fit state to do so, she needs to rest and allow her treatment to kick in. This is why I seek your help. If you have any spare amount that can be donated to help my Auntie's financial situation please do so.
