Dear friends and family: We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and a plea for support. Our beloved two nieces, who are very young and haven't seen the world enough, have been suffering from Thalassemia, a devastating and life-threatening disease. We are devastated by seeing these two sisters each day, but we refuse to let despair take over. We are determined to fight alongside both of them and provide them with the best possible care and treatment. Our nieces, Tanisha and Siddhi are beautiful, vibrant, and joyful little girls who have brought immense happiness to their parent's lives since the day they were born. Their infectious laughter, curious nature, and endless energy have always been a source of inspiration for the family. It breaks everyone's hearts to see their innocent spirit now burdened by this cruel illness. Thalassemia is an inherited (i.e., passed from parents to children through genes) blood disorder caused when the body doesn't make enough of a protein called hemoglobin, an important part of red blood cells. The financial burden associated with their medical expenses, ongoing treatments, and specialized care is overwhelming for the family. Father who is basically from a priest background and not having a definitive source of income has ended up selling all ornaments, and precious stuff and now with their beloved home and land to continuously take care of both sisters' medical expenses. This is where we humbly ask for your support. We have created this LFEBridge campaign to raise funds that will directly contribute to Tanisha and Siddhi's medical expenses and family finances, ensuring they receive the best possible care and treatment.
