A negligent driver forced 2 of our Brothers into the median, causing one of the bikes to flip, and the other to go down, before fleeing the scene. Our Brother is in ICU with multiple extensive injuries. This proud man is always helping others, and we hope you can find it in your heart to help him. He will not be able to earn a living and be able to provide for his 4 kids for at least 1-2 months. If you are unable to give please keep Sleepy & his family in your prayers. Please mark donation “Fundraiser” - Update 7/15 - Update on Derrick Trotter, sometime today he will be moved from ICU to a regular room (from there a few days stay depending on his progress (I don’t know when he gets to go home yet)). -His vitals are more stable today. -He is still in extreme amounts of pain (mainly head, arm, & ribs) -He’s allowed solid foods now..and is drinking water. - he walked a very short distance after getting sick..he’s determined and did it anyway! - he does get sick when he moves -he has broken ribs, a brain bleed, 15 staples on his head, fractures in both hands (heal over time), did well with surgery on his left arm, and has some fractures in his face( how his face looks perfect I’ll never know), and his liver is no longer bleeding. He will get better in time. We appreciate all of your prayers and please just keep him and our little ones in prayers they miss him and he is missing them!!! ❤️ This was a no contact hit and run…if people want to know. Update 7/18 - He’s finally home ❤️ please keep praying for him, he’s got a lot of recovery ahead..but he’s doing great!
