UPDATED! Hey friends, Some of you may know our friend Maria had a pretty bad accident on June 11th, breaking her upper arm bone, the humerus. It was a shock to us all, and since then, it's been a whirlwind of emotions and pain for her. Since her accident, Maria has been bouncing between doctors, getting opinions and treatment. She had surgery recently, with plates fitted to get her arm back in order. Her doctors told her she needs to take it easy for about three months. She's currently seeking other routes of reduced compensation through part-time/ accommodated work but the reality is that it won't likely cover all her expenses. And living alone is tough right now for Maria. Simple stuff that we take for granted, like picking up a book or washing her hair, is now a major task.
