I've had the privilege of calling Jeremy Doty the best brother anyone could ask for. If you know him, you know that he's a tough, private and true-to-his-word man that will do anything he can for those he cares for. In February of 2024, Covid caught Jeremy, but he fought back. He had a helicopter ride from GPRC to Integris OKC where he was intubated within 5 hours of his arrival. He ended up spending 130 days in ICU, a specialty hospital and rehab! He had to relearn how to eat, walk and write again. Jeremy is a fighter though!! He became the walking miracle of everyone around him, including doctors! Unfortunately, one year later, his lung specialist reported that although Jeremy beat Covid, it was at the cost of both his lungs! He would need to receive a double lung transplant. We are raising money to help fund the uninsured medical expenses that are solely associated with his upcoming lung transplant. All donations will be strictly put towards medical expenses. Just a few examples: Anti-rejection drugs and other medications are over $10,000 per year Non-covered medical costs exceed $7,000 a year Jeremy will have to stay in OKC near the hospital for a minimum of 3 months We appreciate the outpouring of love and support that has been given to the family this past year!
