In a split second our entire world was flipped upside down. As many people know, on July 19, my fiancé, Allan was involved in a severe motorcycle accident that will without a doubt alter his life forever. He was going around 45mph when a SUV pulled out in front of him. He tried to swerve to avoid the accident but unfortunately was not able to. As a result, Allan has extensive injuries that will take a long time to recover from. He has a broken femur and pelvis as well as compound fractures to his tibia and his arm. He will need several surgeries to fix everything and will be in the hospital for quite some time. He is currently on a ventilator and sedated to help keep him comfortable and to make healing easier on his body. He had his 3rd surgery today (July 21st) and will have several more over the next couple weeks. Once the surgeries are completed and he has healed, he will need extensive rehab and therapy to learn how to walk again. Allan and I just moved to Florida 6 months ago so we do not have much of a support system close by. It’s been tough on me trying to process everything but I am so thankful that he’s alive! I have been by his side every step of the way and will be taking as much time as needed off of work so he’s not alone. Allan just started a new job a couple months ago that he absolutely loved! He was building police cars, prisoner vans, and more. He was getting to continue his window tinting as well, which made him so happy! Due to being new to the job, Allan did not have any health insurance. As I’m sure everyone can imagine, he will have a lot of medical bills coming. I am creating this fundraiser to help with his medical bills and the other bills so I can continue to be by his side during this tragic time. Allan is an amazing and loving person who always puts everyone before himself! He’s one of the most generous people and would do anything to help out the next person.
