Hi everyone! I need your help! My gorgeous friend Summer Clarke has spent 5 weeks in critical care after suffering with a Stage 4 brain bleed which is called Intraparenchymal Brain Hemmorhage. It’s a very rare and abnormal bleed especially for someone her age, we still do not know why this was caused. It could be spontaneous or she could of been born with a defect. Summer was given a 10% chance of survival and is currently in Salford hospital which specializes in neurology. All the family was initially told Summers chances were very slim and one of the outcomes if she pulled through would be that Summer may not be able to breath on her own again. Summer has gone against all the odds and after being on a ventilator and having a tracheostomy fitted she is now breathing on her own without any monitors and without a tracheostomy. The next stages will be her going to a rehabilitation centre where they can hopefully get summer the best treatment for her recovery. Summers amazing family, Mum Linda, Dad Keith, Sister Courtney and her fiancé Lewis have spent every minute possible by her side! However, this has meant they have had to take a lot of time off work. I know myself and hundreds of other would love nothing more than Summer to be able to recover comfortably with her family by her side, therefore I’ve created this go fund me page in hopes that your donations will allow them to remain by her side every step of the way and help in any way possible to get Summer the best treatment and care she may need. They have in no way asked for this help, but if you know them, they would be the first to help someone else and I just want to give back to them after the experience and heartbreak they have been through! Summer still have a long road of recovery ahead, and we will continue to pray and hope Summer continues to gain strength and recover.
